Media Concepts maintains a full-time,
in-house factory authorized service center. This
department is headed up by Jim Bassick. Technicians are
factory trained on a continuing basis to assure that they
are always up-to-date on the latest technologies,
products and techniques including digital electronics.
Media Concepts is proud to have been selected as a JVC
PSN Professional Service Center, one of only two in
Florida and thirty-three in the United States. Media
Concepts services most brands of video and audio
equipment including JVC Professional, JVC America
consumer products, Philips-Magnavox, Panasonic, RCA - GE
- Thompson and Mitsubishi Electronics just to mention a
few. RATES Consumer TV & VCR products $45.00 per hour Consumer cameras & camcorders $65.00 per hour Professional non-digital products including cameras, camcorders, VCR's and video projectors $65.00 per hour Digital professional & consumer products $90.00 per hour Prices do not include parts, tax, pickup or delivery. All work performed is guaranteed for thirty days. Under some circumstances work may be performed off premises. Warranty coverage is limited by each manufacturer and outlined in the instruction manual or warranty card included with the equipment at time of purchase. Most products under warranty do not include pickup, delivery or service calls, nor do they provide for head cleanings, software updates, lightning damage, abuse or normal wear and tear. Warranties have specified time frames for parts and for labor. Typically, 90 days labor and 1 year parts is considered normal. JVC Professional however, provides for 1 year parts and 1 year labor on VCR*, VCR Accessories, Cameras, Camera Accessories, and System Products. *Except for video heads (drum) which are 90 days parts & labor. ESTIMATES Estimates are charged on the basis of one-hour minimum charge and payable in advance unless an account is previously established. PRIORITY SERVICE Equipment purchased from Media Concepts and under warranty automatically receives PRIORITY service. Priority, RUSH service is available at an extra charge of one-hour's repair rate at the rates outlined above. RUSH service provides for the technician to look at the equipment within a 24 hour period. If it can be repaired at that time then work is completed. However, in some cases special parts may need to be ordered to complete the repair. We maintain a high inventory of parts to minimize delays. When special parts are ordered we must allow 2 - 7 days for delivery. In the event they are back ordered, we must wait. In rare instances, further delays are possible if multiple problems exist that can not be detected until original parts ordered are installed. The customer is still obligated to the RUSH service extra charge since diagnosis was performed within the 24 hour period as promised. Please be assured that Media Concepts operates in the best interest of the customer. We understand down time and do not wish to keep your equipment any longer then necessary to complete a satisfactory repair.
Media Concepts maintains a large inventory of JVC and other manufacturer's parts, service manuals and non sales division accessories. These parts are not only available for equipment being serviced by us, but may be purchased separately by the customer. If we don't have it we can ordered it, and in some cases have it air shipped directly to you.
