Media Concepts offers complete production and post production capabilities for both video and DVD projects. We can provide script writing, talent, production crew, post production, graphics, music and authoring for tape, DVD and CD. In addition we are a licensed JVC custom tape duplicator. This means that once your project is completed the duplication to most formats, domestic or foreign, can stay in-house. See our page on Duplication for further details. We can also replicate your DVD and CD-Rom programs.
Media Concepts shoots and edits with HDV, DV, Digital S (D-9) and Betacam SP, formats. Other formats can be bumped in-house to then be incorporated into your project. We use a Macintosh G5 with Final Cut Pro HD and After Effects.
Most projects that are totally produced by Media Concepts are priced on a per finished minute cost basis that is pre-negotiated. Naturally, factors that enter into such per finished minute costs include special effects, talent fee, visuals, location fees, etc.
The following rates represent various facilities and services we offer to augment your in-house capabilities in producing a video.
PRODUCTION RATE SHEET
HDV, DV, D-9 (Digital S) or Betacam SP Package
Includes: Vehicle, technician, 3-chip dockable camera, Lowell light kit, audio package with wireless lavaliere and/or shotgun microphones, Color video and audio playback, AC & DC power sources.
$1200.00 per day (8-hours) (half-day minimum)
HDV, DV Package
Includes: Vehicle, technician, 3-chip dockable camera, Lowell light kit, audio package with wireless lavaliere and/or shotgun microphones, Color video and audio playback, AC & DC power sources.
$125.00 per hour (two-hour minimum)
OPTIONS
Producer, Director, Talent and additional crew priced on per job basis.
Travel mileage over 50 road miles from St. Petersburg, Florida $0.25 per mile or prepaid transportation by major carrier.
NOTE: All rates are portal-to-portal. Overtime rates apply after 8 hours and are calculated at 15% over rate card. The first 50 automobile miles are included in the basic package.
ALL PRODUCTIONS HAVE A 24 HOUR NOTICE OF CANCELLATION REQUIREMENT. IF LESS THAN 24 HOURS IS GIVEN THE CLIENT WILL BE CHARGED 50% OF THE PRE-BOOKED SCHEDULED RATE.
