To take advantage of Media Concepts' 50% off film-transfer editing, tell the associate who helps you with your order that you would like to have your film edited.  We will then transfer your film to miniDV tape (if you are having the film transferred to a DVD) and give you a VHS tape with the time code on screen.  You can then watch the tape from the comfort of your home and note the order you want the reels to appear, what kind of titling you would like and whether you want background music or narration to accompany the video.  Then, simply make an appointment with the editor and Media Concepts will put it all together--at 50% off the normal editing rate!

FILM TRANSFERS MAKE GREAT GIFTS!

Media Concepts uses a sophisticated telecine system to transfer 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm film to video using a 3 CCD broadcast-quality camera to record the images.  These are stored on a miniDV (digital video) tape that is yours to keep as an archive master.   All film transfers are made at Media Concepts, so there is no need to worry about films being lost or damaged in the mail.  Film transfers to video make wonderful surprises for Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries.

All film is first transferred to MiniDV tape at a rate of $0.18 per foot.  Transfers can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks to complete, depending upon the number of transfer jobs we have currently.  Media Concepts is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5:30pm and you can bring your film in for a free estimate any time.  For more information, call (727) 321-2122 or email jim@mcifl.com.
